I love the total body workout and the satisfaction of mastering footwork or choreography which at first appears unattainable or baffling.
It is an easy drive from Leicestershire once month for us, quite a long way but we think is well worth it for the three classes.

I didn't know how much I would love the music and quite often have the practice CD Diane gave us on in the car just because it sounds so great!

Diane is an excellent teacher and very inclusive. I have no dance background and yet find myself actually feeling like a dancer, it makes me feel so uplifted.
Diane gives all of us one to one attention when we need a bit of encouragement breaking everything down very simply for anyone who has not danced before whilst pushing the more capable ones to try the moves that little bit faster. We always seem to achieve an awful lot when we look back at the session and the time flashes past.
I can gradually see small improvements and successes each time I attend which makes feel really good about myself.
I got involved because flamenco is all about attitude and your OWN style and whilst you have to work hard the "rules" are less restraining. I have always wanted to do a type of dance. I found Diane from a web hunt for flamenco when I moved to the area. I have been going to Diane’s classes for about 2 years now.
